Name a more iconic holiday spot.. (maybe Byron, maybe).. Such an icon, so highly desirable as a holdiday destination that it never really has a strong "off season". It's busy and buzzing year round and definitely "the place to be". You will always have strong investment returns here and when time comes to sell.. limited supply, tightly held and has fantastic annual growth.
Mooloolaba
One of my favourite places to chill out on the weekend for sure, Mooloolaba just seems to have it all. Relaxed vibe, stunning beach which is perfect for swimming, great places to eat, few shops - oh, and I reckon the best massage in town (Sunshine Coast Thai Massage, ask for Tiffany) if you're hungry check out Raw and Rice for an amazing Poke Bowl its just next to the Surf Club..
All in all, it's a really beautiful spot and it is already well known and popular with holiday makers so a clear win for Airbnb investors.
Sunshine Beach
Got cash to splash? If you're after being a hostess with the mostess here's where you'll find it. A suburb that is pretty near perfect. A stunning beach with elevated views from most homes, beautiful cafes and coffee spots (check out Costa Noosa Expresso its a local fave) Sunshine Coast most expensive sale can be found here, alongside some other world class homes.
Oh and you can walk or jog through the along the Noosa Heads Coastal track from Sunshine Beach to Noosa Heads, simply breathtaking (maybe literally its appx 4km..)
Alexandra Headland
"Alex" for the locals, is a surfers paradise. It has some of the best surf breaks in the Coast and is perfectly positioned between Mooloolaba and Maroochydore. Beautiful beach, laid back vibe and a great surfing culture really summarise "Alex". It's an area that could do with some more modernisation and more amenities and this will certainly evolve into an even more desirable Sunshine Coast suburb in the future.
Maroochydore
This is definitely a hot spot for many reasons! Maroochydore already had so much to offer, it has some of the best night spots in Sunshine Coast, it has the Plaza which is now even bigger and still expanding (my pick for shopping here on the Coast), central to beaches & the airport, an easy drive to the Hinterland and five minutes drive to Mooloolaba. Now it has the boost of all the new infrastructure and most importantly a brand new CBD!
