Prior to the inception of The Property Hosts and her permanent relocation to the Sunshine Coast in 2018, Monique worked as a Sales and Marketing agent in the luxury property markets of Sydney's Lower North Shore and Inner West suburbs. Following on from that she owned and operated a highly successful Airbnb Cleaning and Guest Preparation business for luxury Airbnb properties throughout Sydney's most affluent suburbs.

Monique began investing in property in her early twenties, discovered the Airbnb platform initially as a traveller and then a host in 2014 and has been in love with the concept ever since.

The transition into Airbnb Management in the Sunshine Coast was a natural progression given her previous personal and professional expertise, along with her love of the Airbnb platform.

Prior to working alongside his wife, Monique, Matthew was originally based in South Africa where he was a property developer and investor. After moving to Australia and becoming an Airbnb host himself in the Melbourne suburb of St Kilda, Matthew discovered a very lucrative and appealing income source for investors which he now enjoys sharing with new property owners and investors.

A passionate resident of the Sunshine Coast, Matthew has seen first hand just how incredible the Airbnb and short-term rental market can be, especially in the tourism hotspots along the Coast from Noosa to Mooloolaba. When he's not finding the next property hotspot you'll find him having a round of golf on one of many of the fantastic courses between Noosa and Caloundra.
